By using LifePost, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What LifePost provides

LifePost is a platform for writing and preserving a digital LifePost. We are currently in an early access phase. Features, availability, and pricing may change.

Your account and content

You are responsible for the content you create on LifePost. You own your content. By posting, you grant us a license to store, display, and preserve it as part of the service. You can delete your content at any time.

What you agree not to post

You agree not to use LifePost to post content that: promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any person or group; is sexually explicit; is spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation; impersonates another person using a false identity; is intended as a threat, suicide note, or instrument of harm; violates any applicable law.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms and to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

Identity and accuracy

LifePost is built on the principle that LifePosts belong to real people. We may require identity verification in the future. Accounts created with deliberately false identities may be removed.

Preservation and availability

We intend to preserve your LifePost for as long as possible. However, we cannot guarantee perpetual availability. We are a small company and the service is provided as-is. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users if the service will be discontinued and to provide options for exporting your data.

Limitation of liability

LifePost is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifePost and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of LifePost after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes.
