What LifePost is
LifePost is a digital legacy platform where you write a single, lasting message for the people who come after you. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. When you use the writing tool on our landing page, we store the text you write and the email you save it with. If you create an account in the future, we will collect your name, date of birth, and any content you choose to include in your LifePost (text, photos, video).
Why we collect it
We use your email to notify you when LifePost launches and to send occasional product updates. We store your draft so it's preserved when you return. We never sell your data to third parties. We never use your content to train AI models. We never show you ads.
How we protect it
Your data is stored on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to production databases is restricted to the founder. We use HTTPS across the entire site.
Cookies and tracking
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. This sets cookies in your browser. We also use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individual users.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@lifepost.io. We will delete your information within 30 days. If you are located in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and port your data.
Content ownership
You own everything you write on LifePost. By posting a LifePost, you grant us a license to display and preserve your content on the platform for the purpose of the service. You can revoke this by deleting your LifePost or requesting account deletion.
Children
LifePost is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email if we have your address, or by posting a notice on the site.
